The original Library was built without tax dollars – entirely through private donations, including the land, the architectural drawings, and construction costs. Most of the original collection was donated, as well. The Town of Leicester would like to continue that tradition, to build upon the legacy, and complete the renovation and expansion without an increase in tax dollars.
“Locally owned businesses build strong communities and it is important for us as a local business to step up and be part of this project,” stated Rob Cleary, President of ClearCom IT Solutions, Inc.
This year ClearCom IT Solutions Inc. celebrated being in Leicester for 10 years. ClearCom decided they were going to donate $3 for every new computer user they brought on board to their managed service program in the month of June, July and August. Some companies they provide services to have 10 employees others have 100+. In 3 months they added just over 300 new computer users to their support portfolio.
